Bui Thi Lan Huong received her doctorate in economics from the University of Aix-Marseille II, Center for International Economics and Finance, France. She holds an MBA with a concentration in marketing from the French-Vietnamese Center for Management Education, University of Economics Hochiminh City, Vietnam as well as a bachelor's in physical chemistry from the University of Saigon, Vietnam.
She was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar, a post-doctorate fellow at Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
Her areas of expertise include consumer behavior, market research, international marketing, tourism, retail industry, economics, international economics, economic integration, development economics and welfare and international business. She is fluent in French and English, speaks Russian, and is learning Japanese.
She is a seasoned scholar with extensive teaching and research experience and accolades to include numerous fellowships, scholarships, academic honors, and certificates.
In her free time, she is an independent consultant, freelance translator, organizing international study trips for master's students, and a short story writer.
