Federal Student Aid

Graphic: More than 1,800 UOG students were awarded the Pell Grant in 2016-2017The Federal Student Aid program, authorized under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, is a variety of grants, loans, and work-study programs to financially assist students attending college. These can all be applied for with a single application, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Who can apply?

Students who have financial need, are U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens, and are enrolled in an eligible degree or certificate program.
