Because many of us have been impacted financially during the pandemic, we are providing some financial relief to students to bring down the cost of education at UOG for the Fañomnåkan 2021 semester.

UOG will be providing eligible students registered for classes during the Fañomnåkan 2021 semester with direct grant payments through funds from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF 2). More information will be available soon.
UOG is once again offering a 5% rebate to all new and returning students registering for classes in the Fañomnåkan 2021 (Jan. to May) semester. The registration deadline has been extended to January 29, 2021!
The total fees for the Fañomnåkan 2021 will be fully waived for eligible students –– a savings of up to $403! Contact 735-2214 for more information.

We understand that in order to have the best and most meaningful academic experience, you need personal access to advisement, faculty, learning resources, technology, and more. Here are some tips and tools to overcome the economic hardship of the pandemic and to set you up for success.

The Triton Store is now offering many textbooks and digital course materials through the Triton Digital Access program! Students can save up to 70% off traditional textbooks and e-books through our partnership RedShelf and can take advantage of a single license for multiple textbooks through Cengage. Plus, you can still purchase traditional textbooks and special orders. Contact the Triton Store for more information at 735-2931 or email tritonstore@triton.uog.edu.
During the Fañomnåkan 2021, you’ll be able to check out laptops and other equipment to help you stay connected for your online classes. UOG has also designated special “Green Zones” throughout the campus to provide you with high-speed Internet connections while maintaining social distancing. Contact your dean’s office for more information about these two programs.


Your health and well-being is our priority. Here are some resources available to our students and measures UOG has put into place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 on campus.

When we are able to welcome students back to the campus, UOG will provide each student with a reusable mask. Other PPE like face shields, gloves, and reuseable and disposable masks will be available at the Triton Store. Plastic barriers have been placed throughout customer service areas.
Proactive measures have been taken in accordance with CDC guidelines, current conditions, and Department of Public Health & Social Services protocols including:

  • Appropriate social distancing of 6 ft. or more
  • Temperature checks as needed
  • Increased cleaning frequency
  • Disinfecting high-touch surfaces
  • Resources available at the Student Health Offices
